When people make a purchasing decision,
they donot care about the price,
they care about the value of the product/service!

How cool it is?
How much do I want it?
How much do i need it?
How often will i use it?
How long will it last?
Is it guaranteed?
Is it the best among the similar products?
[the list goes on...]

It is important to convince consumers that we do have the highest value!
[just in the case that we really do, as CUTCO does!]
Because the price they see is objective and fixed;
but the value can build up without bound!

I care about:
Are you limited by your "price"?
How did you try to build up your own value?

Shall we lie?

Is a lie to pretend, to protect, or to postpone the truth?

Would lie harm? or it comforts?

I am an everything-is-possible person.
It is just too many possibilities behind everything
that we cannot always bother to think about the uncertainties.

Lying is acceptable to me,
but not preferable!

Personally, I feel so free to tell the truths
and so guilty and uncomfortable to lie.
So I usually choose not to lie.

And if you too have a choise,
make a SMART one!

I care about:
What is your opinion on lying?
Are advertisements lying?
Is lying or telling a partial truth more acceptable?

Globalization knows the price of everything but the value of nothing

Is globalization good or bad?
It depends.

Better offs-
globalization bring brands from different part of the world together.
As a consumer,
it is now easier to compare products and servises,
thus greater chance to get better purchasing decisions.
Also, globalization accelerates competition,
it encourage innovations and creativity of a company
in order to maintain market share.

Worse offs-
3rd world countries get left-behind FARTHER.
Global firms see PROFIT as their primary motivation.
The world is materialized SEVERELY.
INDIVIDUAL's existing value is depreciated.
LOCAL businesses' contributions are overlooked.
[the list goes on...]

Having said that,
I still appreciate the globalization process
as it really accesses me to most information that I can think of.

To balance out the worse offs,
it's not just the companies' but all of us's responsibilities to
LISTEN MORE
CARE MORE
ACT MORE

to those who need help.

Let's localize the world and appreciate values beyond the price tags!

Many of the marketers on the list are not founded in Canada,
such as

L'oreal from France,
Perfetti Van Melle, a global manufacturer of confectionery and gum from European,
and Unilever, which is also from European.

And there are only Loblaw and Scotiabank two Canadian companies.
We are looking forward to more Canadian based firms shine in the market!

1 Picture > 1,000 Words!
Here's >4000 words explaining how to make a name for a brand.

As usual, the same strategy applied to individuals!

Woo
What a persuasive and unique commercial!
A beer commercial without a bar with sexy girls.
It didnot even focus on the product at all,
but it definitely convinced consumers[probably not Americans]
to have a Molson!

Canadian
Good Job!!

We should really realize that,
people sometimes donot buy the use of a product,
but buy its unique charateristic and meaning.

The rule also applys to people,
people buy people for their heart & brain.

We are more talent than judging a book by its cover,
aren't we!?

There is a quotation that I cannot agree with it more!

It can be used to remind firms the right
and the BEST way to do business.

And it is definitely also a survival guide
for us as an individual.

If you have it [Love],
you don't need to have anything else,
and if you don't have it,
it doesn't matter much what else you have.
-Sir James M. Barrie

Please to LOVE!

As nowadays firms are engaging a lot in competing each other,
it is more important for them
to transfer the hatres toward competotors
into the LOVE to customers.

To concern more about what customers really need,
and put more efforts to meet those needs
.

>Let people fallen in love with you<3>

To hate is so tiring and worthless!
Isn't it, friends?!!

STOP FIGHTING, START LOVING!

  1. Never to be fooled by appearance
    -but
    to look clearer
  2. Never to judge too quick
    -but
    to think deeper
  3. Never to believe in perfectness
    -but
    to feel truer
  4. Never to be lost in your own idealism
    -but to
    LISTEN to others

I had read Scott Ginsberg's book-Make a Name For Yourself

ya... he's the guy with a name tag 24-7

& the guy promoting approachability!

I recommend you to read his book
which really motivates people to be active in networking
among many other cool ideas

So here comes
the 10 qualities that make you the
TOP salesman /
TOP marketer
[indeed also the...]
COOLEST person as a friend!!
from the book:

1]Make a Friend in 30 Seconds-
turn a stranger into a friend.

2]Don't be a Typical Salesman-
customers hate salesmen.

3]Think like a Chess Player-
instead of approaching customers, enabled them to approach you with your own attitude and appearance of approachability.

4]Bring a Soda-
make the customers to feel comfortable, appear friendly, approachable, casual and not goal oriented.

5]Be Up-front and Honest-
make customers less intimidated and more willing to work with you.

6]Product Knowledge-
memorize every item offered to better help the customers.
[do your homework/research !]

7]Help Customers Participate-
interact with customers.

8]Unique Openers-
stop opening the conversation by “Can I help You?”

9]Unique Closers -
close the opening conversation that reminds customers who you are and that you'd happy to help, instead of “I'm Ally if you have any questions...”

10]Don't get tired of your dream!
-[a piece of advise of mine, just to make it a 10 -lol
but it actually has a lot to learn and to do
in order to bring you to the top!
So really
DON'T DON'T DON'T EVER GIVE UP!!]

WARNING- [16+]
children must be accompanied by adults to watch the following commercial

the latest Workplace Safety Insurance Board's
preventable accident series

OMG- a scaring commercial!

the commercial should really be labeled with "HORROR"
& should have viewer discretion advise!

hopefully chiefs are still willing to cook
otherwise ...
WONDERFUL FOODS WOULD DECLINE then DISAPPEAR

of course,
a more important message to everyone
WATCH OUT FOR SAFETY!!really

Commercial Slogan
is a memorable motto or phase use by firms as
a repetitive expression of an idea or purpose
[which always happen to be creating& sustaining a brand image]

Followings are some of the many best
& most recognized slogans :

  • Let your fingers do the walking. (Yellow Pages)
  • Start Your Day RIGHT. (Tropicana)
  • Drive Your Dreams! (Toyota)
  • Good to the last drop. (Maxwell House)
  • Diamonds are forever. (DeBeers)
  • Just do it! (Nike)
  • The pause that refreshes. (Coca-Cola)
  • Where's the beef? (Wendy's)
  • Because I'm worth it.(L'OrĂ©al)
  • M&Ms melt in your mouth, not in your hand. (M&M candies)
  • Reach out and touch someone.(AT&T)
  • Have it your way.(Burger King)

consumers would be surprised
how these catchy lines create brands' unique images
& influent our purchasing habits

such slogans really teach us a lesson-

the power of affirmations!

we would believe in things
that we have been told again & again

so please take the advise
& do try this-

affirm yourself with your own value!

CREATE YOURSELF A SLOGAN!

by telling yourself that
"I'm attractive!"
"I'm confident!"
...
[according to your own need]
do this on a daily basic
you will be amazed how
positive changes happen on you

Nintendo was the first vedio game console
I had been hooked on.

Famicom-
a Japanese version of NES
[released back in 1983 in Japan]
After being disappeared for years,
Nintendo finally refound its market!
[if it's not doing better than ever]

NDS & Wii
were released in 2004 &2006 respectively

I would say
Nintendo was and is my only favour of its generation.

Mario
for sure is my best-loved game!

The following commercials should tell better than words-
why fans fell in love with Nintendo again

life is getting more and more dynamicstic
[which is really cool!]
the dynamic causes incredible marketing demand
[if it's not vise versa]

advertising campaigns are everywhere!

however

brands sucessefully grab market share
are morelikely the ones that can simplify life

simple=balance in busy life
Launch the market
SIMPLY Idealize the products
Fulfill consumers' need
Effective ever[create brand loyalty]

also
simple=profitable
have a look at:

all these leading brands
have simple images, clean designs
&
targetting high-end consumers!

SIMPLE OBSESSION-
consumers' strong desire to simple
&
their loyalty toward brands
can not be overlooked

#1 Always CocaCola

Posted In: , . By Ally

For those who are interested in stock market,
it is not hard to see most of the leading companies
with outstannding perfomance in the market,
are also companies with strong brand image.
There is actually a study from Interbrand indicates that
the Best Global Brands index
has consistenly outperformed the markets.
Some brands have dramatic growth in value recently include:
Googl
e
BMW
Starbucks
Apple
are recognized in Best Global Brands 2007.

CocaCola,
with its $65,324 millions in brand value,
remainds #1 brand in the world.
The value is leading its competitor
Pepsi
by $52436 millions , who 's ranking#26 in the report.

Coca Cola's brand power does not come from nothing.
Its brand managers have really creat it
a strong image.
Say what come to your mind when thinking about
Coca Cola

Santa -
red + white, the best colours to remind people their beloved figure.
Chrismas -
a great stratege in using the most popular holiday in western world.
Polar Bears -
concerns about global warming somehow helped with raising awareness of them.
Children & Families & Happiness -
same as those for McDonald's, may be the reason why they are partners.
and more recently-
the coke factory
.

Slogans:
Always Coca Cola
The Coke Side of Life

Then let's now have a look at
Pepsi.
Not lacking advertisements and exposures
but the brand image is far weaker than Coca Cola.

Lack of consistency!

When consumers buy a product,
we do not usually just buy the usage of it ,
more ofter we buy also its image,
the brand certanly brings us consumer surplus!
So that, people
Always Coca Cola!

[****it is long but you HAVE to watch it!]

Supreme Idea!

the commercial had grabbed my attention at the beginning-
funny,colourful cartoon design,
very tense background music,
attractive atmosphere.
[thought that's a movie's trailer]

it suprised me in the middle-
what the product came out to be!

finally @ the end
it just standed out and
left me with great impressions !

one may says it
commercializes love

and it overstates the importance of appearance.

but regardless such an endless issue,
the commercial really brings life
JOKE & EASE!
