is not just the actions to keep up doing something.
It’s more about reflecting the strong will and believe
behind the actions.
Consistency=Skill=Value
It’s incredibly important to develop one skill
that you are really good at.
To be the best one on what you are good at,
it’s your target.
Correction: there‘s no “best” on earth,
what I meant is to be better on a specific skill than anyone else;
To have your own style on doing such things
such that no one else can replace you.
And keep in mind that
always challenge yourself,
ya, be consistent in challenging yourself.
How to make sure that you can always be better than you were?
PRACTISE, PRACTISE, & PRACITSE!
The idea is old, but it works.
To practise not just helps with improving your performance
but also helps with finding new ideas, generating new thoughts.

Also,
always be passionate about your interest
[what you good at should be your interest in the first place!],
and don’t lose confidence EVER.
BELIEVE in YOURSELF!
Often times,
there are 2 types of people
good at stuffs.
1]
they really are the top players on earth,
and they feel no space to improve the skills anymore.
This especially happens on musician, chess players, sport players,
people who are good at stuff
whcih seem to have a limit on the skills.
Unlike writing, painting,
such skills are only limited to one’s imagination and ability.
Still,
no one should lose passion and confidence
on things that you are proud of.
Try to take a break, a long vocation.
New environment always refreshes your mind
and gives you new thoughts.
I am not good at those professions
which I said “seems to have a limit”,
but I believe in those who are really good at music, chess or sport
would find a better way
or an innovative style to perform
or the willingness to become a mentor,
after some refreshment.
People think they are the "best" on things
they are interested in.
However,it’s always and only
people who are not the best think they are the best.
"Good" is not how you think of yourself
is how others think of you!
They don’t see the rest of the world.
Being self-centered is limiting one’s vision
and the willingness to listen and learn.
These people are afraid to face the fact
that there are really some ones else out there
do things better than themselves.
Being close-minded is the enemy to success.
But at least,
they have strong interest and the hope
to be the best.
Improvement is never enough,
so is practise,
so is passion,
so is consistency.
If you don't categorize yourself in any of these two type.
If you don’t find yourself good at anything YET,
go find one!
Find something that interests you,
you are passionate about,
then consistently practise it with confidence.
Success is in your hand,
unfold it!
I care about:
What are you interested in?
Are you proud of yourself?
Did you think that you can't be successful before trying?
How much time and effort did you put in pursuing success?

wow it was a long one~ nice one too
For myself....i dunno, i'm the kind of person that "knows everything but is not advanced in any of them"....itz somehow sad eh. however, once i found sth that interests me, i will die for it, no matta how many i failed, whatever it takes, i will not get frustrated at all, as long as i think "I WANT IT" then everythin is worth ..However, when my passion is gone, everythin will become so whatever to me....i dunno if i fit in any of the kinds of person u mentions nor i dunno if itz good or not but urgh...thatz me
and ya..i agree what u said, consistently challengin urself is essentially important. I like playin arcade (i know thatz not an educational example =/) and i hv to practise at least once a week to maintain my standard, coz everyone is improvin, if I thought i was good enough and stop practising, pacin on the same spot, i would fall behind by ALOT...and that happened, i stopped goin to arcade last year, and when i tried to pick up the game again this year, i expectedly dropped to a mid-lvl player...or even worse, reli no surprises there...
so....ur turn?
do u never limit urself in who/how u were & dun ealisy say "thatz me" unless there's a positive impact by that statement.
I'd be honest that i WAS reli lazy and as u were, easy to loss my passion.
unike u, have strong interest on ur games, i can even hardly recall anything i was and am still passionate about!
now i am still not sure wt my ultimate goal is, but i'd keep reading and writing.
we shouldn't wait for anything but our own determination to take actions.
at least, i know that reading is helping me to open my mind and get to know more- the more i know, the more i understand myself and the more i wanna express myself.
and please don't care much abt educational or noneducational.
for me i don't care about marks as long as i won't be kicked out.
wait, i have to admit that i was very self-conscious and bcoz i used to get "okay" marks so that i always wanna maintain my marks just to make myself feel confident.
now i stil want good marks, but the knowledge and the interpretation of my own's are far more important than the numbers!
define your own value and meet ur goals step by step!
if at the end of our lifes, we become nothing but a fool regreting we didn't do anything for a better living when we were young.
us, ourselves, are the only one to blame.
btw i do have some "goals"
um, but they are not neccessary related to each other:
>i will be living on my own earnings b4 graduate, and would be able to take care of my family
>i like marketing and branding, i may persue a career in sales/marketing/advertising
>i wanna help others, i wanna inspire others, i want my family&friends&significant other& even anyone i encounter to be happy, i know there's still a long way to go, but i am determined to be a more helpful and approachable and countable me!
>i may start my own business, but shouldn't in the near future, a cafe sounds cool!
>i won't let myself to lose passion this time on improving self awareness
>... the list goes on
dun pay attention to my quotes~i was just tryin to be dumb...
i see there is a strong belief to motivate u and u would manage to archieve the goal which u think it is good for u, rite?
and i found one thing is reli interstin....seein what u hv written about...i assume those r what u think it is valuable for u to inspire u to be a person that u want to be.. coincidently those r just what i need too...
i appreciate ur thinkin, they worths to be shared and i luv readin ur thoughts...but hmm still the same suggestion...dun push urself too hard to meet ur goal, ok? tough girl...there is always an more enjoyable way to the same goal u aim at....if ur enjoyin what ur doin...just ignore what i said and i hv to say, good job =]
so i see u hv an idea of runnin a cafe eh....I will be invitin u to join my complex restuarant by then lol
Something to say?
